Bassetti is proud to announce that the firm has earned a JUST™ label. Created by the International Living Future Institute, the JUST Program allows Bassetti to demonstrate leadership in many areas of corporate social responsibility, including the equitable treatment of employees, diversity and inclusion, local sourcing and purchasing, worker benefits, workplace safety, and community stewardship. JUST reflects Bassetti’s commitment to transparency and disclosure and serves as a tool by which the firm can evaluate and improve using simple, yet specific metrics across a range of indicators.
Bassetti Associate Principal, Kristian Kicinski championed the program after attending a session on JUST at the Living Futures conference in 2016. “It seemed like a great way for us to talk about our firm culture and the policies we already had in place, as well as encourage us to make some needed changes we hadn’t yet implemented.” Some of those changes included a paid parental leave policy and a living wage policy. All of Bassetti’s Principals believe that the JUST label helps them create a better, stronger firm through its transparent display of Bassetti’s commitment to social responsibility.
“In a relatively short timeframe since program launch, the JUST Program has garnered worldwide interest and has helped organizations to develop better employee engagement policies and community stewardship practices, JUST Program Manager, Francis Janes said. “The JUST Label is reflective of Bassetti’s long-standing commitment to sustainable design and civic engagement.”
