The Center School

This small 300-student urban high school, perches above the bustling atrium of the food court and dance floor in the middle of the city's cultural heart, the Seattle Center . Formal and informal learning spaces include a commons area, classrooms, science labs, seminar rooms, shared teacher offices, and conference rooms. Students gather and socialize in the school Commons, but head off to public places to partake in cultural learning experiences such as dance, drama and fine arts.
