North Bend Library

1992 - North Bend, Washington
Bassetti Architects designed the North Bend Branch of the King County Library System to address the needs of the rapidly growing North Bend Community while maintaining a visible connection with the city’s rustic past and spectacular natural surroundings.
The building is oriented to afford sweeping
views of Mount Si and the Rattlesnake Mountain Range. Locally quarried granite, exposed timber detailing and the simple massing of the building reflect the character of local historic structures.
The facility incorporates state-of-the-art library technology including expandable telecommunications and information systems along with computerized energy management.
