Renton Memorial Stadium

Renton Memorial Stadium serves all major football, soccer, and track and field events for the Renton School District. With a 5,300 spectator capacity, the design for the 1948 structure is a complete modernization to comply with the 2006 Washington State Energy Code. Because the stadium is called “home” by a different school each day it is in use, a theatrical-grade RGB LED lighting system under the home side grandstand can be programmed to wash the white concrete with each evening’s home team colors. The lights both announce activity to the greater community and support district plans to lease the stadium for commercial and community sporting events.
