Bassetti Announces Senior Associate Promotions

Bassetti Architects is pleased to announce the elevation of Joe Echeverri to the position of Sr. Associate. Joe exhibits strong project and firm leadership ability, outstanding communication skills, a rigorous design methodology, and a highly effective project management approach. He continues to shepherd the Roosevelt High School project for Bassetti, earning the trust and confidence of the Portland Public Schools Capital Projects division. Joe stepped into the Project Management role at a key time for Roosevelt High School and has seamlessly guided the project to remain on time and budget. His integrity and warm communication style demonstrate professional maturity and an ability to easily work with and inspire team members. Joe has shown a keen interest in promoting the future of Bassetti’s Portland office, has been a tireless advocate for and participant in our ongoing Oregon marketing efforts, and has taken a strong leadership role in creating a cohesive culture between the firm’s Seattle and Portland offices. Along with his ongoing work at Roosevelt, Joe is currently Project Manager for City View Charter School in Hillsboro. Joe embodies our goal of creating enduring and spirited architecture in a collaborative work environment. Therefore it is our pleasure to welcome Joe as a Senior Associate at Bassetti Architects.

Bassetti Architects is delighted to announce the elevation of Julie Flattery to the position of Senior Associate. As Marketing Director, Julie has shown a deep commitment to the firm’s success and exceptional skills in shaping a compelling image and message for the firm within the broader community. Julie’s leadership is evident in a variety of initiatives ranging from long-term goal setting, proposal clarity, interview preparation, Compelling Communications – a firm public speaking group, improvisation training, and amazing holiday films. Since joining Bassetti in 2011, her work ethic, attitude, and actions have consistently served as an inspiration to others. Julie has championed the development of the Portland office and built a growing network of professional contacts within the design community. Her approach to problem solving supports a rigorous, team oriented office culture. She has continually collaborated with the Principals in developing a strategic marketing approach resulting in steady work throughout a major recession. We deeply appreciate Julie’s professional maturity, commitment to excellence, and understanding of the practice of architecture. We welcome her as a Senior Associate at Bassetti Architects.
