Bassetti Architects is currently seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Senior Project Architect and BIM Manager in our Seattle office.


Senior Project Architect

The ideal candidate is passionate about architecture and preservation work, has a strong design sensibility, technical abilities, and appreciates the process of articulating design through documentation and construction.

Position Description:

  • Exhibit strong Technical Skills in Quality Assurance and Constructability
  • Experience in Preservation Work
  • Prepare design and construction documents and generate detailed solutions to architectural problems
  • Exhibit understanding of design concept and produce design documentation to support that concept
  • Coordinate documentation work with project team
  • Coordinate and manage the construction administration process including interface with owner, contractor, and consultants
  • Contribute to team effort through the spirit of collaboration

In support of the Bassetti team, the successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
  • 10+ years of experience in a range of architectural skills
  • Licensed to practice architecture in a minimum of one state
  • Experienced with building code analysis, permitting process, and construction administration
  • Revit proficiency
  • LEED certification is valued, as well as demonstration of a strong understanding of sustainable design
  • Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage the demands of several projects
  • Experience with K-12 projects is desirable

BIM Manager

The ideal candidate has experience with BIM management in A&E firms, is a good communicator, and a self-motivated individual who is able to work in a highly collaborative environment.
Position Description:

  • Manage BIM software
  • Manage BIM office standards
  • Lead BIM focused meetings
  • Troubleshoot BIM-related issues
  • Train staff in BIM
  • Provide BIM support on projects
  • Provide Technology R&D
  • Report to manager on a regular basis

In support of the Bassetti team, the successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • 3+ years of industry experience
  • Knowledge of current versions of Autodesk software
  • Basic PC experience Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, and Web-enabled applications
