Built in 1994, Tualatin High School has been a successful part of a growing suburban community. Originally sized to a 1,600 – 1,800 student enrollment, the school now needs to provide space for a forecasted enrollment of 2,000. The existing structure reflects a well-maintained appearance and was originally built as one interconnected complex. The few additions of the past, such as the Tech Wing, have been freestanding structures.
A new six classroom wing and expanded CTE program transforms this school into a 21st century learning environment. Student safety was improved with a centralized school office that has clear visibility of the main entry. The rich red colors displayed throughout foster a sense of school pride. An enlarged commons creates a centralized location for students to gather for lunch, to study, or simply socialize.
