BN Builders + Bassetti Architects, a Design Studio of HMC Architects Wins Shelton View Elementary School Replacement Project

BN Builders and Bassetti Architects, a Design Studio of HMC Architects were selected to lead the design and construction of the Northshore School District (NSD) Shelton View Elementary School Replacement Project in Bothell, Washington.

Funded by a 2026 bond, the $78.2 million progressive design-build project involves replacing the existing structures with a high-performance facility for 550 students. The scope includes a comprehensive campus redevelopment featuring approximately 60,000 to 70,000 square feet of learning, an inclusive playground, playfields, optimized site circulation, and cafeteria and gymnasium facilities.

The new space will be adaptable, with learning environments that easily evolve with changing pedagogies and operational needs. Safe and secure collaborative spaces will welcome social interactions and connection between faculty and students. Set on a beautiful site, the design will maximize daylight and views to enhance student wellbeing and prioritize durable materials to optimize long-term maintenance and sustainability. The redevelopment represents an investment in the success of future generations of Bothell students.

Design has begun and will be complete in December 2030.
