Highline High School wins A4LE Polished Apple Award

We are proud to announce that Highline High School has won the A4LE Washington Chapter Polished Apple Award.

Constructed between 1923 and 1928, Highline High School’s presence became a beacon of the importance of education in the community for the next century. Bassetti was honored to work with the District to create a design that both honored the heritage of the site while updating the space for 21st century educational needs.

Community connection was a critical factor in the design of the new school and was felt throughout the process of working with the students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the community as a whole. This project resulted in a new design that integrates seamlessly into the heart of the Highline community.
